Last weekend (4-15-23), Chicago erupted in chaos as hundreds of teenagers took to the streets to riot, loot, and attack innocent bystanders downtown.
Wait. Scratch that. Turns out it was just a bunch of young people acting silly.
In response to the festivities, Chicago’s Mayor-Elect Brandon Johnson reminded us that “Demonizing children is wrong. They’re young. Sometimes they make silly decisions. They do. So we have to make sure that we are investing to make sure that young people know that they are supported.”
Riiiight.
Warning unnecessary as these are not scenes of violence. They are just scenes of great kids in Chicago just acting silly. (video here) Way to go, you awesome youngsters!
