How to keep from being bamboozled in "community visioning" meetings

You might want to get up to speed on what the "Delphi Technique" is and how it is used against you by developers and corrupt politicians.

You basically are invited to participate in a “Visioning” meeting, where the public is offered an opportunity to “steer” an upcoming community project (developing low-income housing in your beloved open space, for example.) The meeting invites public participation, but it is a manipulative deception, as the magicians force you to "choose their card" meaning they bamboozle you into the outcome that they desire, leaving you possibly confused but not objecting, because this outcome was (in your mind) the “community’s wishes.”
